How do I remove the magnetic mounts or clips that have adhesive?

The 3m tape used on the back of the mounts/clips that require adhering to the car is automotive grade 3m tape and has been tested at length. In our testing, we have found that they can be removed without damage to door trims with minimal residue that can usually be removed easily with alcohol wipes. Unfortunately we are not able to cover every scenario in our testing. For example, pre-existing trim condition, pre-existing deterioration of leather trims prior to adhering mounts, temperature/ weather conditions, amount of force used to remove mounts to name a few. 

To remove mounts/clips with 3m tape, we recommend slowly removing (with a little strength if required). It is also easier to remove on a hot day/when temperatures inside the car are increased. With any residue left behind from the tape, use alcohol wipes to gently wipe the surface to remove.
